So is this Christian Science, like the people who believe God will heal them and doctors are the devil's helpers? Or is this Christian science, where the science conforms to what the Bible says?

Seriously... This is actually what Texas wants their public school textbooks to be.

  1. Wouldn't surprise me, it's not the first time. Recently they've managed to remove Thomas Jefferson from history books because of his secular views.

This article details some other things that were removed/replaced/changed in the Texas curriculum. It's sickening.

  2. “Let’s face it, capitalism does have a negative connotation,” said one conservative member, Terri Leo. “You know, ‘capitalist pig!’ ”

Hmmmm.... Because we dont want anything with a negative connotation in these books.

"...another conservative member... won passage of an amendment requiring the teaching of “the importance of personal responsibility for life choices” in a section on teenage suicide, dating violence, sexuality, drug use and eating disorders."

Because teenage suicide, dating violence, drug use, and eating disorders have such positive connotations to them.

Theres so many other things wrong with how theyre ruining the education of the kids in that state, but Im just going to leave it with what I've said here.

  3. I wish Texas would just secede from the Union. They're a lost cause. And they're the only state that reserved the right to secede when they joined.

    Please Texas, just leave.
