«Vaccinations in General»

Penn and Teller on Vaccinations

Yes it's kind-of gimmicky. But the point is sound. Even IF vaccination did cause autism1, it would still be worth vaccinating every child in the world.

I'd like to note that when he throws the bin the plexiglas shield moves a little and knocks down another yellow pin. This is the child that is allergic to chicken eggs or another component in the vaccination.

1: Which it fucking doesn't!

  1. I saw an article not too long ago that debunked the original study that linked vaccines to autism:

Having talked with some parents of autistic children, it is amazing how powerful the original concept was for channeling despair into destructive directions.

  2. @ Looney: I know it was debunked. But once people hear something, even if its false, they latch onto it if it provides answers.

  3. Indeed. I recently had a vaccination and had no negative affects whatsoever. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go stack objects and fail to make eye contact with people.

  4. @ Vid: Yeah, I've been playing Minecraft a lot after I got the vaccination. Minecraft is often associated with autism (as a joke, but still).
