Nothing is absolute. Of course Christians...@Marf, ok, now I understand!

Of course Christians view God as the ultimate cause of everything, so - in a similar manner - perhaps an atheist would give thanks to the Big Bang? The difference being that Christians believe God created the laws of physics, which the designers of the aqueduct were then able to use, whereas the Big Bang was only subject to the laws of physics.Looneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15801436449971512320noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-657922381188309716.post-61482979044172790832010-01-26T13:40:27.884-07:002010-01-26T13:40:27.884-07:00@ Looney: What I meant was the Realist point of vi...@ Looney: What I meant was the Realist point of view seemed like a smart-ass response.

I was debating whether or not to even say anything, but did God build the aqueduct?Marfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11883134840667378998noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-657922381188309716.post-50084898679976041482010-01-26T08:15:21.262-07:002010-01-26T08:15:21.262-07:00The "smart-ass" point of view wasn't...The "smart-ass" point of view wasn't on there?

Other points of view -

Union: "This glass was made by exploiting child labor in Canada."
LGBT: "Obviously the glass won't find an opposite sex partner."
Goreite: "Fossil fuels were used to make this glass that released green house glasses which threaten the existence of man-(and woman-)kind."
Limbaughism: "If the government would quit screwing up the markets, we would have a high-quality crystal glass for the price of cheap plastic junk."

My point of view changes day by day, but usually it is this:

"I am thankful that God gave me a glass with clean Sierra water delivered via the Hetch Hetchy aqueduct system."Looneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15801436449971512320noreply@blogger.com
