So much truth about how atheism is viewed by society it hurts.
Double Standard

Johnny is an Atheist who profiles people based on religion. He is oppressed, and is lashing out because of being smothered by the ignorant Christian majority. Billy is a Christian who profiles people based on religion. He is no doubt a hateful bigot who was brainwashed into intolerance.

Atheists like heavy metal and Christians like classical. :)
ReplyDelete@ Looney: I do like the periodic table (including the heavy metals) better than the classical elements.
ReplyDelete@Marf, after reading a lot of classical writers, I decided that the classical word for elements would probably be best be translated as phases today: Solid (earth), Liquid (water), Gas (air), Fire (plasma).
ReplyDelete@ Looney: Yeah I was referring to earth, water, air, fire, and spirit (or aether) when I mentioned the classical elements.
ReplyDeleteFire is a chemical reaction though; it's a very rough translation to call it a plasma.

This truly appalls me. Since Christianity is the most widely followed religion in the world, most have a Christian way of thinking, even if you are not Christian. This is a repulsive insult to all atheists.
ReplyDeleteI apologize, I spoke too hastily. I never viewed the ending.
