You'd think I would have something special planned for my 1000th post, you'd be wrong. Minecraft has consumed me...
It took me 986 days to get 1000 posts and in that time I've had 3184 comments. Keep in mind I took a 32 day break while I moved to and adjusted to Boise Idaho.
I dedicate this post to you, my readers. Your comments are what has kept me going. I appreciate all of you, even if you don't comment. A special thanks goes out to my most active commenters:
Monique. While you don't blog anymore, it's how I met you and you're still an active commenter on mine. Our discussions off-blog makes me feel like more than a friend, I feel like a part of your family.
Looney. Differences in opinion are the spice of life. My blogging would have been far more bland of an experience without you. Meeting you in real life was a real treat.
Vid. I think at this point you've left more comments than anyone. You always have something to say, and I always look forward to seeing what it is. Because a Vid is fine too.
Bunc. You're sort-of on-again off-again, but while you are blogging it's a reassuring read knowing that I'm not the only crazy atheist blogger out there.
Linda. I'm not sure where you came from, but since you showed up you've been leaving some good comments (especially the comment on the Instruction Manual for Life post). I like knowing that I've got readers across the pond. In this day and age, the entire ocean truly amounts to nothing but a pond.

«Second Blogoversary»
2 Years of Blogging, and all I have to show for it is THIS.
My traffic has improved a little from the first year. Across my entire site (not just the blog) I've had over 384,500 visits and 726,500 pageviews during this past year.
The absolute most popular post of the last year was Pon & Zi with 29,166 views. It also has the most comments, with 56.
Never missed a day yet, and I don't regret any of it. I've made some friends along the way, some with radically different beliefs.
I've made 775 posts now. I should reach 1,000 before my next Blogoversary!

«The Flash Version Mappack (600th Post)»
I took a small break from building my map for Portal and played some that other people have made. Specifically the Portal: The Flash Version Mappack. It was fun, and just about the right difficulty. It's nearly as long as the official game itself, and is split into 5 map files.
I'll admit there were 3 spots that I used the noclip cheat (can pass through walls), but only to get my bearings. Once I saw where I was suppose to go I went back and did it without the cheat.
The ending was epic, but a little confusing. Without giving too much away, I just sort-of hid behind a truck and it defeated itself, somehow.

«First Blogoversary»
January 21st may not be a holiday for anyone else, but it's a personal holiday for me. 1 year ago I started this blog. That's right, I've been rambling on for a year now. Someone must care; across my 404 posts, I've accumulated 1,313 comments so far.
Across my entire site (not just the blog) I've had over 200,000 visits and 400,500 pageviews during this past year. Not too bad, I suppose.

«Musical Taste: Rammstein (100th Post)»
Parts: 1, 2, 3, and 4.
For some reason I felt pressured to make some grand post for my 100th. I even was out doing Google searches for other people's 100th post to get some ideas. You know what I found in my searches? More-or-less bland posts trying to hype up the importance of 100. So whatever, I'm just going to continue as I otherwise would.
This next one isn't so off-the-wall strange. It's Rammstein, a lot of people like them. (Oh, look, another band from Germany!) I usually don't like music quite this "hard", but sometimes I'm in the mood for it. The videos are worth a watch if nothing else, they have some very interesting videos with their music.

«One Month»
As of today, my blog is one month old. I haven't missed a day yet.
Through a Google search that brought up an email address, I've recently managed to make contact with an old friend that moved away years ago. That's been the highlight of my week (or month, whatever). Been sending emails back and forth, updating each other on our current status in life. Kinda makes me realize how little I've accomplished compared to what I should have by now, but whatever... I'm not going to go into that now.
Thanks to the Escape Hatch blog, I'm now hooked on the Cyanide & Happiness comics. Just another random web comic that I've subscribed to in Google Reader. I'm getting quite a collection of random comics, websites, and blogs.
