Here's the opening ceremony fireworks for the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building. It opened January 4th, 2009. Despite Dubai's current economic situation, they spared no expense.

ReplyDeleteWonderful show. I still want to know what the maximum speed of an object is that gets flushed down a toilet at the top floor. Let's see, square root of gravity times height ... sqrt(9.8m/s*828m) gives about 90 meters per second or 201MPH?
