There's been a lot of stabbings and shootings lately in Ketchikan. A lot for a town of this size, at least... In the event the article linked to above is about, it's believed the motive was jealousy over a girl.

Well, some people have nothing better to do on a saturday night besides kill their best friend and then commit suicide. Today at my town's middle school a roofer fell off the roof of the four story school and splattered. I am pretty sure some of the kids are scarred for life. worst thing that happened here in a long time
