Frank Schaeffer on Rachel Maddow
I literally yelled out "Yes!" in a triumphant manner when he said "We have a village idiot in this country, it's called fundamentalist Christianity."
How about a certain Californian Christian fundamentalist I know1? Do you think Obama is the Anti-Christ? I know you have a low opinion of Obama...
1: I know, I've been picking on Looney a lot lately. Despite this, I really do respect him.

I was the anti-Christ! A lot of atheists probably would roll their eyes and answer "yes" to the poll question just for fun.
ReplyDeleteMany Christians need to cool their rhetoric. The apostle Paul wrote letters telling people to respect their leaders when the Roman emperor Nero was the leader. In my experience, most Christians will back down as soon as this is pointed out. Frank should know this, but he seems to want to vent his bitterness instead.
