The weather forecast here in Boise is calling for a low of 1 degree Fahrenheit Tuesday night... And high winds.

Frostbite / This guy was only outside for 5 minutes

    That reminds me to start scouting out camp sites. We got a 5 foot deep dump of snow in the Sierras, so ...

    The worst part is that the way wind blows to the east, whatever weather you get is what I'll eventually get.

    Snow apparently due here this week - six inches forecast. Our main problem in Scotland is not so much the snow or frost - you can wrap up against that - but cold driving rain - its amazing how quickly you start losing heat when you are soaked through. I'd much rather have the snow than constant rain.

    @ Bunc: I know cold driving rain well. But I'd still rather have rain than snow. You don't have to shovel rain.
