«TEDsters»

In TED talk by Michael Sandel, he asked the audience by show of hands who thought state recognized marriage should only be a traditional marriage between 1 man and 1 woman: 2 people raided their hands. Then he asked by show of hands how many favored the inclusion of same-sex marriage: nearly the entire audience raised their hands.

In another TED talk by Richard Dawkins he mentioned that he was (pardon the expression) preaching to the choir about atheism. 90% of the intelligentsia are atheists. This is an inverse of the general population.

TEDsters are my kind of people...

  2. @ Clockwork: In a perfect Utopian world we could all live and let live. But we don't. Religious people (not just Christians) have been pushy, it's time to push back.

  4. Dont worry about them Marf, even though I know you wont. I enjoy all of your posts regarding religion. Its a big topic and it always has been, you cant avoid talking about it. And I do believe also that its time to push back.

And @Trevor: Im not sure what I should be concerned about. The fact that you actually made what Im guessing is an empty threat like that, or about how a network of computers could walk up to someone's doorstep and slap them. GF
