Part 2 covers Sopor Aeternus & The Ensemble of Shadows. Perhaps the most tortured music I have ever heard. It's not a band, but a single artist, by the name of Anna-Varney Cantodea. She can be described as transgender or perhaps between genders, but she prefers to be referred to as female. She's German, but most of her lyrics are in English. Throughout her life she's been in a very deep depression.
Her music can be a bit of a shock to someone not fully prepared for it. I don't blame you if you don't like it. It takes some getting used to, but I have developed a sort-of connection with it.

I like the first song, and her image is quite interestin'. Gives me ideas for drawin'. I like her.

ReplyDeleteI have to admit, a few of her songs were a bit of a shock to me at first. But I fell in love with her photos the moment I saw them. Didn't freak me out.
