One thing we have a lot of around here is eagles. This one was being dive-bombed and tormented by a raven. Ravens are known to do that to eagles. Despite the raven being about a quarter of the size, the eagles seem to just put up with it or move; they never fight back.

  1. It was probably the Raven w/ the dart through its head. I'd be pissed off and looking for a fight too!!!

  2. I'm pretty sure it wasn't the raven with the dart. It was on a totally different side of town, about 12 miles away from this eagle.

  3. You are so literal, it cracks me up.

  4. Yes, I am.

In fact, most of the time I mean to be. It's part of my sense of humor, I'll often point out a technicality.

  5. Nice picture! Uuh, raven with a dart through its head? What's that all about?

  6. @ |bernadette|: This bird I blogged about: The Immortal Bird.

  7. "It's part of my sense of humor" - which is why it cracks me up. Otherwise I'd think you were just a nitpicker
